About the Role:

Are you currently an experienced engineering leader or wish to take the next step in your engineering career, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment? This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to step into a key leadership position based at our Bella Vista Office.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the leadership team you will lead an experienced team of Engineers locally (NSW/QLD) and overseas driving growth, consistency and technical excellence across our business whilst ensuring strong commercial and technical outcomes.

What will I be doing?

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineering professionals including driving the graduate development program
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, quality and safety
• Execute current and develop future engineering business strategies
• Oversee the delivery of projects to the highest technical and quality standards, ensuring compliance with legislated engineering requirements
• Actively engage in hands-on engineering delivery, working closely with clients and the engineering team to develop and implement tailored technical solutions

About You:

• 10+ years of solid Australian HVAC construction experience with 5+ years in a senior or leadership role
• Degree qualified in Engineering
• Membership of Engineers Australia; CPEng / RPEQ ( if not currently registered, Crest will support application and continued membership)
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Experience working with quality systems e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001
• Solid experience in handling competing priorities utilising outstanding organisational and planning ability
• Strong communication and influencing skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on teamwork, collaboration and accountability
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information to provide innovative solutions
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to adapt to unique and challenging environments
• A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
