About the Role:

Crest is seeking a dynamic Commercial HVAC Project Manager to join our growing team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage complex HVAC projects, ensuring successful delivery and exceeding client expectations. 

Please note that this role will ultimately be permanently based in Newcastle, NSW. However, your first major project rollout will be located in Taree, NSW before you transition to our main Newcastle base for ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

You will deliver high quality air conditioning services including:

• Detailed project programming and control and managing project progress and performance
• Variation and contract negotiations
• Managing financials across Projects, budgeting and forecasts
• Design Management
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies
• Build long-term positive client relationships
• Managing onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
• Managing defect rectification
• Mentoring and coaching Junior Project Managers and Site teams
• Establishing and ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS requirements

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience within the HVAC industry in Australia
• Knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to the HVAC industry
• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or a Degree in Construction Management or equivalent
• HVAC Project management skills with experience in handling competing priorities utilising outstanding organisational and planning ability

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information to provide innovative solutions
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to adapt to unique and challenging environments
• A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
• Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applications
